Learning statement and values
The Bath House Children’s Community Centre is a unique place to play and learn. We value each child’s voice and foster a love for learning within a warm, creative and exciting environment. Through positive relationships with children and families we hope to promote a joy for life and being part of a community.
Our stimulating environment ensures our children become resilient, reflective and respectful.
Skilful and caring staff support children to develop their interests and deepen their knowledge, nurturing them to take their place in the wider world.
Our values are based on respect, tolerance, kindness and community, and connect to everything we do. We support the children to acknowledge and take care of each other, working towards independently solving problems and managing their own behaviour, and children know they will be listened to and their words valued.
Our values are also in line with the required British Values themes:
Democracy - We all have a voice, and are listened to
Rule of law - We are aware of boundaries, share and take turns
Individual liberty - We have a choice, and accept the needs of others
Respect - We promote respect for everyone and everything
The aim is for our Bath House children to be confident, resilient, empathetic, joyful and communicative learners. We are committed to ensuring every child can engage in meaningful learning experiences that create a sustained desire and curiosity to explore and learn.
