We aim to provide a safe and happy child-centred environment, where children can relax, play and learn through self-chosen activities. The play workers are actively involved in helping the children to get along and make new friends. We work closely with parents to help your child feel happy and supported here. If you have any concerns please talk to Kim, the After School Club supervisor, or Maggie, the manager. The staff ratio is one play worker to eight children, with a higher staff ratio for outings. Weekly staff meetings ensure that the program of activities and the needs of the children receive attention.
It is very important to phone the office before 3.00pm if your child is ill or not attending the After School Club that afternoon otherwise we will wait and look for your child.
If you change your booking you must contact the office, not a playworker.
Please make sure your contact details are up to date and let us know if your phone number changes.
In the unlikely event of a child becoming separated from the pick up group with in the school or playground children should never leave the playground, but return to their class room or the school office. Staff will regularly remind children of these procedures. Please talk through this process with your child, so they are clear about what to do.
Children are not allowed to bring scooters or bikes from school to the Bath House as we feel they can make the journey unsafe. Parents/carers need to sign their child out of the Bath House when they come to pick them up at the end of the day. The registers are in the atrium to the right of the doors as you come in.
Two weeks notice is required to end your booking.
